Linjie Deng is a multimedia artist.

After getting my MFA degree from SVA NYC, I have been working as an artist in NYC. Multimedia art, such as ink art, participatory art and performance art are always hobbies through my life. I started studying Chinese ink art at six years old. I still love it, because water helps to enlarge the gradation of Ink color. When dissolving Ink into water, you can observe delicate changes, which illustrates Eastern cultures's unique philosophy. You never know what will happen. 

Now, I've also migrated to a space situated among digital media, video and many other types of media. And tend to execute experiments with media and new media art from a Conceptualist position.
